Got Questions?

Everything you need to know about buying beats, licensing, and releasing your music.

Browse the beat player above and click on any beat to preview it. When you find one you like, select your license tier (MP3, WAV, Trackout, Unlimited, or Exclusive), add it to your cart, and checkout via credit/debit card or PayPal. After payment you'll receive:
  • An email with download links for your beat files
  • A PDF license agreement — save this, it's your legal proof of purchase
Download your files right away and back them up. If you have any issues, reach out via the contact info below.
Leasing (non-exclusive) means you get a license to use the beat, but I keep ownership and can continue selling it to other artists. Your license comes with specific limits on streams, downloads, and performances.

Exclusive means you get full rights to the beat. It's removed from the store permanently and no new licenses are issued. You keep 100% of royalties. Previous non-exclusive leases sold before your exclusive purchase remain valid until they expire.

If a song is taking off, upgrade to exclusive early — once someone else buys exclusive rights, that option is gone.
Yes — that's the nature of non-exclusive leasing. The same beat can be licensed by multiple artists, each with their own license agreement. This is why leases are more affordable. If you want to be the only artist on a beat, purchase exclusive rights.
After purchase, here's your next steps:
  • Record your song using the beat files you downloaded
  • Get it mixed and mastered — the beat file isn't mastered for your final song, it needs to be mixed with your vocals
  • Distribute to streaming platforms using a distributor like DistroKid, TuneCore, or CD Baby
  • Credit the producer — add "Prod. by Double A" in your song title, metadata, and video descriptions
  • Register with your PRO (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC) and include the producer as a songwriter with the agreed publishing split
MP3 (320kbps) — good for demos, rough mixes, and social media previews. Not ideal for final releases since streaming platforms will compress it again, causing quality loss.

WAV (uncompressed) — the standard for professional releases. Always use WAV if you're releasing music seriously.

Stems/Trackouts (individual WAV tracks) — gives your engineer full control to adjust drums, bass, melody, etc. separately. Best quality and flexibility for your final product. If your budget allows, always go with stems.
Yes. All licenses require producer credit. Include "Prod. by Double A" in:
  • Your song title or metadata on streaming platforms
  • The "Producer" or "Songwriter" field in your distributor
  • YouTube video titles and descriptions
  • Social media posts featuring the track
Failing to credit can be a breach of your license agreement.
If you exceed the caps in your license, you need to upgrade to a higher tier. Your options:
  • Upgrade to a higher lease (Trackout, Unlimited)
  • Purchase exclusive rights for full control
It's your responsibility to monitor your streams. If your song is gaining traction, upgrade early — if the beat gets sold exclusively to someone else before you upgrade, you may not be able to renew.
Basic and WAV leases do not include sync licensing rights (TV, film, commercials). These are for personal music releases — streaming, downloads, and music videos.

Unlimited leases may include some commercial use — check your specific license agreement.

Exclusive rights generally grant the broadest usage including sync licensing. If you need a beat for commercial advertising, reach out to discuss terms.
Use a digital distributor like DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby, or Amuse. Upload your final mixed and mastered track (not the raw beat), fill in metadata including producer credits, and the distributor handles getting it onto all major platforms.

Important: If the beat is registered with Content ID and your release gets flagged on YouTube, don't panic — submit your license agreement PDF to clear the claim. This is routine and happens frequently with leased beats.
Beat purchases are non-refundable since they are digital downloads that can't be returned. This is standard across the industry. Exceptions may apply for billing errors or corrupted files — reach out if you experience any issues and we'll sort it out.
